Walk from Union
The enclosed skywalk
An indoor pedestrian corridor connects Union Station’s west arrivals hall directly to the base plaza of the tower. The corridor runs above the rail corridor at second-floor level, is climate-controlled, and is fully accessible by ramp or elevator. At a normal walking pace the route takes about twelve minutes. Follow the overhead signage marked with a tower silhouette.
Transit connections at Union
Union Station is the hub for every regional rail service in Toronto. GO Transit commuter trains arrive from Hamilton, Oshawa, Barrie, and other points across the Greater Toronto Area. The UP Express runs every 15 minutes from Pearson Airport and takes 25 minutes. Line 1 (Yonge–University) of the subway stops directly under the station.
Driving and parking
A multi-level parking garage sits beneath the plaza. Rates are posted at the entrance and vary by day of week. On summer weekends the garage often fills by noon, so arrive before 10:00 or use transit. Ride-share drop-off is on the Bremner Boulevard side.
Stroller and bag rules
Strollers are allowed on the main deck but must be folded before you enter the lift queue. Bags larger than 40 × 40 × 25 cm are checked at a counter near the lobby without charge. Laptops and camera gear in smaller bags can go through the security scanner.
Accessibility
The entire skywalk is step-free. Elevators at both the Union Station end and the plaza end connect to street level. Wheelchair-accessible washrooms are available on the ground floor of the tower lobby and on the main deck. Service animals are welcome on all indoor levels.
Alternate walking routes
If you prefer fresh air, exit Union Station at the Front Street doors and walk south-west along Blue Jays Way. The walk is about 15 minutes and passes through the entertainment district. In winter the outdoor route can be icy; the indoor skywalk is the safer option.
